Application

Used for welding similar material castings and various specifications of 10Cr13, 06Cr13 and 06Cr13Al stainless steel.

Characteristics

The Welding Wire is a 12%Cr-4%Ni-0.5%Mo martensitic Stainless Steel Welding Wire. Ferrite, which limits the harmful effects on mechanical properties by reducing the content of Cr and increasing the content of Ni, the wire has a higher strength and hardness than 410 due to the addition of Ni and Mo, and is used in more demanding wear-resistant and corrosion-resistant applications. The welding operation features a stable arc and the weld formation is well-formed.

Note

For MIG welding, the shielding gas flow rate should be maintained at 18-25 L/min using Ar+2%O2 mixture. Wind shields must be employed when wind speed exceeds 0.5 m/s.

For TIG welding:

Gas flow rate should be 5-14 L/min at welding currents between 15-200 A Gas flow rate should be 14-24 L/min at welding currents between 200-320 A

Pure argon must be used as shielding gas. Wind shields are required when wind speed exceeds 1.0 m/s.

Pre-welding requirement: Both MIG and TIG welding processes require thorough removal of rust, oil, moisture and other contaminants from workpieces.

Note: The above parameters serve as reference only. Users shall establish suitable welding procedures based on specific production conditions.
