Used for welding cast alloys with similar compositions, and can also be used for carbon steel and stainless steel (Especially high-nickel stainless steel).
The Welding Wire is a 29%Cr-9%Ni series austenitic-ferrite duplex Stainless Steel Welding Wire. Even diluted by a large amount of austenitic-forming elements, it still retains the duplex structure and therefore has high crack resistance. It can be welded in all positions.
For MIG welding, the shielding gas flow rate should be maintained at 18-25 L/min using Ar+2%O2 mixture. Wind shields must be employed when wind speed exceeds 0.5 m/s.
For TIG welding:
Gas flow rate should be 5-14 L/min at welding currents between 15-200 A Gas flow rate should be 14-24 L/min at welding currents between 200-320 A
Pure argon must be used as shielding gas. Wind shields are required when wind speed exceeds 1.0 m/s.
Pre-welding requirement: Both MIG and TIG welding processes require thorough removal of rust, oil, moisture and other contaminants from workpieces.
Note: The above parameters serve as reference only. Users shall establish suitable welding procedures based on specific production conditions.
