Application

Suitable for welding synthetic fiber, petrochemical equipment and other equipment manufacturing of the same type of stainless steel structure, composite steel and special steel components, but also can be used for nuclear reactor pressure vessel inner wall transition layer welding and tower components welding.

Characteristics

JL-E309L-16 is an ultra-low carbon Cr23Ni13 stainless steel electrode with rutile type flux. It can be used in both AC and DC mode and can be welded in all positions. The deposited metal has low carbon content, so it can resist intergranular corrosion caused by carbide precipitation even when there are no stabilizers such as niobium and titanium.

Note

The welding rod shall be baked at 320-350℃ for 1 hour before welding, and shall be used immediately after baking.

Rust, oil, water and other impurities on the welding parts must be removed before welding.

It is recommended to use a DC power supply, because the welding depth is shallow with AC welding, and the current should not be too high to avoid cracking of the coating.

Minimize the amount of heat input, and the swing amplitude of the electrode should not be too large.

Preheat and interpass temperature should be kept below 150℃ .
