Application

Suitable for welding ultra-low carbon 00Cr18Ni9 stainless steel structures, and can also be used for corrosion-resistant stainless steel components such as 0Cr19Ni1Ti with operating temperatures below 300°C, primarily used in the manufacturing of synthetic fiber, fertilizer, petroleum, and other related equipment.

Characteristics

JL-EA002 is an ultra-low carbon Cr18Ni9 stainless steel electrode with a rutile type flux coating. It is suitable for both AC and DC welding and can be used in all positions. The welding process has excellent performance, with stable arcs, minimal spatter, easy slag removal, and aesthetically pleasing welds. The deposited metal exhibits excellent resistance to intergranular corrosion.

Note

The welding rod shall be baked at 320-350℃ for 1 hour before welding, and used immediately after baking.

Rust, oil, water and other impurities on the welding parts must be removed before welding.

It is recommended to use a DC power supply, because the welding depth is shallow with AC welding, and the welding current should not be too high to avoid cracking of the coating.

Minimize the amount of heat input, and the swing amplitude of the electrode should not be too large.

Preheat and interpass temperature should be kept below 150℃ .
