Application

Used for welding relatively important low-carbon steel structures and low-alloy steel structures with low strength grades, such as Q235, 09M2, etc.

Characteristics

JL-J422 is an acid-coated titanium-type electrode. It can be used with both AC and DC power sources and is suitable for all-position welding. It features excellent welding process performance, stable arc, minimal spatter, easy slag removal, aesthetically pleasing weld formation, and superior re-ignition performance.

Note

Under normal circumstances, the electrode does not need to be baked before welding. If the electrode becomes damp, it must be baked at 150-170°C for 0.5-1 hour before using.
